Carrie is a woman who wears many hats with grace and heart. She is a devoted daughter to parents who encouraged her to set goals and reach for the stars. She is also a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. Born and raised in the charming city of Appleton, nestled along the Fox River in Wisconsin, Carrie has always had a deep appreciation for family and community.

Her lifelong curiosity about human behavior and brain development led her to notice patterns in how people think, act, and grow across different stages of life. She became especially fascinated by how children shape their character through interactions with the adults around them.

Carrie’s Buff and Friends series explores these everyday yet important behaviors in fun and relatable ways. The book Penelope focuses on the theme of little white lies—the early seeds of integrity that evolve as children’s brains and values develop. Through her stories, Carrie encourages parents and caregivers to engage in open conversations with children, highlighting positive behaviors and nurturing their growth through understanding and example.
